I’m pretty sure USC is paying players already.

If we’d loaded the preseason schedule, we’d still have zero quality wins. This team (especially without Collette and Barefield) would’ve gotten crushed with a tougher preseason. We’d be sitting on 10 losses and no better prepared than we currently are.

There are some geographic issues we simply can’t change. Bottom line is, if a Utah kid is a P5-caliber player, he will go to Utah if he wants to be close to home, and he’ll go somewhere else if he wants to be away from home.

Proximity to home is an underrated aspect of recruiting nobody talks about.

Pretty impressive offer list: Cal, Creighton, Iowa St., Marquette, USC, and more.

Well, it worked. I spent 5 minutes looking at his commitment and trying to figure out what football position is abbreviated “SF”.

I’m very disappointed we didn’t land this guy:

He’d never add Utah County. That place is right up his alley, and 90% of them voted for him.

Fun fact: El Dorado Hills (Oak Ridge HS) is the hometown of legendary former Utah WR Travis LaTendresse.
