I’ve been to every home game this year so far, and I have to say, I’m loving this season based on pure entertainment value. Even when we play against the little sisters of the poor, this team is still fun to watch.

I loooooove Barefield’s shooting touch – he will open up things in the post by forcing defenses to guard the 3 point line. Pretty good passer as well. He started the game badly but really turned it on once he settled down.

Perspective is needed right now. This Utah team was always going to be NIT-bound, and I stand by that. Especially with so many good teams in the PAC12 this year. I’m guessing this team ends up 21-10 or so.

@pedro Couldn’t agree more on that last point. Yesterday I was in a car with a coworker (Utah fan), and during our 15 minute drive, he blamed the loss on “running the ball too much on first down”, and minutes later “going away from the run.”

I think we already had our WTF game against Cal.

That said, I do fear we come out rusty and fall behind early. We just had our bye week (granted, so did ASU) and we’re getting a number of key players back who haven’t played a snap of real football in weeks. I just hope they get up to game speed quickly.
