One of my employees – SC grad, big time SC football fan – is in my office at this very moment, literally pounding his head and fists on my desk.

People are overthinking this. BYU-P won because they wanted it more. After all the coaching, video analysis, nutrition, strength training, etc…desire and heart will still make the difference.

Quick reminder that, for whatever reason, lately Utah has started its seasons poorly and picked it up later. By the time Oregon rolls around, this will be a much different (probably better) team. And who knows what trajectory Oregon will take?

At this point, no outcomes for the rest of the season would surprise me.

So what do you propose we do? Not replace the players who leave?

I just want our boys to stay healthy. I’m not sure if BYU-Provo Campus is still Cheap Shot U, but I still don’t trust those guys. If we win the game by 50 and lose a key contributor, it’s going to feel like a loss to me.

Agreed. Every fanbase has its pricks. Sadly I’ve met several Utah fans who are pricks too. But I still maintain that the BYU-Provo Campus has more than average. I blame it on a couple of things:

It has everything to do with the way your players, coaches, and fans represent the church. Let me put it this way:
1. When the non-SEC power conferences decided to form an alliance, the Big 12 wasn’t invited to be a part of it.
2. When the non-SEC power conferences had a chance to poach any remaining Big 12 member they wanted, they all declined.

It is now the P4.

Until 2025.

The new hierarchy in football is now as follows:

SEC

Alliance (PAC12, ACC, Big 10)

Big 12, ACC, MWC, WAC

Everyone else

As a person of the LDS persuasion, I hate it that these videos exist. Because every time I try to tell someone from out of state that “Mormons are pretty much just normal people”, I feel guilty because I know these videos exist and they prove that I’m lying.
