Bingo…this is the crux of the issue. With the advent of the internet, the barrier to entry to do widespread print journalism went from very high (i.e. you had to own a multi-million dollar printing press) to very low. I guess if cheating, bribery, and sexual favors in sports bugged me, I wouldn’t be able to watch any sports. Can’t think of a single sport or league where this (and more) isn’t going on.

I have to confess my love of the Olympics. Summer and winter, it’s all good. Here are my reasons:
1. They provide welcome and much-needed variety from the same 2 or 3 sports we’re normally forced to suckle from the 6-network tit.
2. I’ve played a bunch of Olympic sports and I enjoy seeing how the very best play them.

Although it’s fun to speculate, in a way I hate prediction threads. As always, it will come down to injuries (our and opponents) which are impossible to predict. We’re always assuming everyone is healthy when we make predictions, and that’s never the case.

Agreed…good call, poor execution. Not sure if Barefield thought he had 0.4 seconds on the clock instead of 4 seconds, but he had no need to force it up so quickly.

Doesn’t matter if we win or lose. It will be counted as a win once the FBI forces Arizona to forfeit their entire season.

I don’t care if we lose by 40 to UA (and we probably will we’ll be so tired) – this was a successful road trip.
On a related note, at the end of the year our record will improve by 2 games when the FBI forces UA to vacate their season.
