The team looked better as the game progressed. Jones looks content to distribute first, but also confident with his shot. I thought Martinez would have more of an impact. Larsson looks solid.

The recruiting sites have all switched their predictions from Utah to BYU. Too bad if so. I wonder if our signing of great LBs this class influenced his decision.

Starting as a rookie at CB.

Rumors are swirling that DHC is transferring from BYU to Utah State. Can anyone confirm? I love that guy and wish he was still a Ute, but it will be much easier for me to cheer for him in Logan than Provo.

Any word on Hubert’s recovery? It would be nice to have a safety with a little experience back there. I could see Hubert and Ritchie as the starting safeties. I think Ritchie and Fillinger have the best chance to contribute immediately. The team will likely need at least a few true freshmen to provide needed depth to our defense that lost all but 2 starters.

Any updates on Bam? I have heard that he is still expected to report this fall, but I hadn’t heard if he’s here in Utah yet. If he solidifies one of the tackle spots, our OL looks a lot better.

Pretty decent weekend for me.
