Update on our OL: Elijah Grady did not report to fall camp. This means either senior Matt Cox who is large but, in my opinion, just can’t hang on the edge. Look for a RS FR to possibly start at RT.

We technically did have tribal approval. The issue was that one tribal leader wouldn’t allow his tribe to vote. We needed unanimous support. It was as big a mess as you can imagine. Sensitive white people win again.

This really sucks. From what I hear he is your guys’ version of our Reyes. I was really looking forward to watching him play.

After crunching the number from the last three seasons, our points for at altitude mean is less than one standard deviation less than the mean. And that’s just the numbers in a bubble without the consideration of unquantifiable data such as talent match-ups and weather.

This year we won’t rely on the run game out of necessity like we have the past couple of years. Our passing game should be pretty decent this year.

This is a big reason this is a great game for UND to play in. Bowling Green last year wasn’t any good and we played like trash and still only lost by 1. Playing against elite players will make our guys better and more hungry. Iron sharpens iron and it appears you guys have got your fair share of that.

Yeaahhh….. if you could go ahead and suspend Mr. Carrington for a game due to his DUI that would be grrreat.

4300′ is nothing. Our guys will be in very good shape. We haven’t had troubles with other high altitude locations. I’m more worried about 400lb Samoans than 4300′ if I’m honest.

Obviously he was our main stud. The guy who started opposite his to start the year was a true soph who suffered a season ending shoulder injury after 3 games. He was replaced by a true fr who was a fr all American. Our corners are young but very gifted. None are 6’3″ tall though….

This is a big reason that I am both excited and nervous for this game. Our OL struggled in the first 4 games or so last year but came together to be a solid unit by the end of the season. I honestly haven’t seen Utah play enough to make much of a prediction. I guess I’ll make three separate predictions based off of three different scenarios.

1: We are unable to run the ball and are forced to chuck and duck to keep up. Utah 42-12.
2: We are able to run the ball. Utah 24-23
