I’ve always thought the best solution was 8 team playoff with each P5 champ, highest rates G5 champ plus two at-large (with indy like ND automatically in if ranked in top 8, leaving at least one true at large). Don’t see how anybody can argue with that composition.

Yes – although I think you can make the argument we’ve already had 2 WTF losses in those two games… WSU is a good team and the Palouse is a weird place to play, but for me the WTF was the *way* we lost that game. Either way, I endorse the “WTF loss(es) are out of the way” theory.

I’ve never worried about this game. They had one good season like 5 years ago (12-2, beat by 3 TDs in their BCS bowl game by FSU) and badly lost their bowl game to Duke last season. Don’t see this game being much closer than the Weber State game.
