Not saying we would have won, but the difference between a 3 and out and sending a gassed UCLA D back on the field vs giving up a TD had to be absolutely demoralizing.  We would have had a realistic chance to take the lead with good field position on the ensuing drive.
In all likelihood we still lose, but IMO Reid killed what chance we had.

Anyone have any info yet on how the University will be selling its Rose Bowl ticket allocation?  I am assuming the U is getting some but I dont know.

This is UCLA’s ninth game of the year.  Their nonconference schedule did not include a G5.  They have not had a bye.  They just played a full four quarter battle against Oregon with Gameday hype.  Their QB may be a little dinged up.  Now they go on the road to a tough crowd.

We are not used to having an average or slightly above average D line.  That is what we have now.  They were thoroughly beat on both run stop and pass rush.  Dont get me wrong, I am not saying these guys are bad players, they just arent at the same level weve been spoiled to expect.

…the reality is this is a bad team.
Its been 4 games now.  This team is what it is.  Another decent to good defense paired with an awful offense.
