These non-football football activities all suck. The game sucks unless it’s an actual game that actually matters. 

They were really struggling from the floor unitl Joe Johnson showed up in the fourth quarter. Derrick Favors looked really comfortable backing up Gobert and Rudy made a great comeback in a game where his minutes were limited. They won with Hayward not playing most of the game because of food poisoning.

The Jazz may not be out quite yet. Hopefully they can change their gameplan with him out and exploit this. Joe Johnson may be able to go off the last couple of games.

We’ll see if more transfers happen. I feel the Daniels transfer was a bad idea. I think Larry is going to regret that. 
I think Zamora transferring is what was a fine decision. He wasn’t going to get a ton of playing time next year.

Larry has said Tommy is in charge of coaching the guards. We don’t develop guards. The growth of our guards has been abysmal and there is no excuse for this. Larry needs to look in the mirror and at his coaching staff for these transfers and their lack of growth.

Is Larry that guy? What changes in recruiting are needed?
If Oregon can go to the final 4 we damn well can.

I think I’ll stay right here and discuss Utah Athletics.

Kyle Kuzma- should go to the NBA if he can get drafted in the first round. If he slips to the second round he should stay.
My guess is he will stay. This draft is stacked. If he goes next year he will be a top 20 draft pick. He will secure a larger guaranteed contract by going.

I would love to play bsu, valpo and UCF all at home before getting to the nit final four. I really hope we can get as many games for this team to grow for next season.

This is very similar to the Trier situation.
An announced suspension without a specific reason.
A healthy player not practicing with the team. 
I wonder if this is the reason and we see Daniels come back next season.
From coaches press conference today it makes me think we won’t see him back this season.

Utah basketball played well.
They only turned the ball over 9 times which is the goal for most teams.
The refs tried to give this game to cu by slowing it down and calling fouls and getting our best players in foul trouble. We persevered and beat the buffs.

I’m not calling for Larry’s head but I think next season heads need to roll on his assistants. Tommy, Slocum, Hill should not all be here next season. From what I know I want Tommy and Hill gone. Those two are over the guards and don’t recruit as hard as the other assistants. 

There are a few things lineup wise which have made me have question.
I don’t like Parker Van Dyke starting. He is a shooter and I’ve always liked players like him to be first off the bench because it gives the bench scoring punch.

Utes played subpar defense tonight and couldn’t hit a shot and still won. I guess that is good. Their pick and roll defense needs improvement and Why haven’t we ever run the Pick and Roll with Collette and Kuzma? It clears the middle out and opens things up.

He should have been gone 9 years ago.

He looks really good. If he can drive like that he could start next season. He fills the need of another slasher. Losing Bonam opens this team up for another slasher. Donnie Tillman could be that guy. I do expect him to play good minutes next season.
