I fully agree but QB can be a tough position to fill even for good teams. For example everyone here is spooked by Baylor, and I agree. But their QB, Blake Shapen, is TRASH. Good teams in CFB often succeed despite mediocre QBs.

I hope cam plays. But even more than that I hope any decision to have him play is sound. If he’s ready then let’s go. If he’s not then hold him. Hold him for two months if we need to. Just make the right decision for Cam the person and for the second half of the season.

Cam is a genuine but small possibility of making even week 1 (though it’s certain he shouldn’t). Kuithe is an actual 0% chance.

We made Richardson millions in that game alone. I can’t remember exactly but the dude didn’t pass for a touch down for another month or two after our game. He was trash and we made him look incredible.

He couldn’t get it done through the air against Florida last year either. If he’s immobile in that game (as he is now) he probably throws for 150 yards in 4 quarters. No, I’m pointing out that reality has validated me.

Though I still hope he’s recovering well enough to play. I think him playing at 70% is a worst case scenario and I’m nervous about how likely it is.

I hope Rising makes it but if it posses a risk to his recovery then it’s just not worth it. I’d be fine with him missing significant time if that’s what it takes.
