ParticipantOh, Mark “Swalberg”—you BYU trolls really don’t know when to quit, do you? You must’ve mashed your keyboard extra hard while writing that load of delusion, hoping someone here would mistake you for an actual Utah fan. News flash: no real Ute fan has ever uttered the words “BYU will run this state” without choking on their own bile.
Let’s be real. You guys finally stumbled into a few decent recruiting classes after decades of irrelevance, and now you’re crowning yourselves kings of the state? BYU’s “dominance” is built on NIL pipe dreams, milk-chugging hype, and the same tired arrogance that’s made you a national punchline since the floppy disk era. Meanwhile, Utah has owned this rivalry for 20 of the last 25 years—on the field, on the court, and in every way that matters.
The “beginning of the end” already happened—for you. When Utah jumped to the Pac-12, we left you behind like a discarded VHS tape. Now we’re in the Big 12 too, and you’re terrified, because deep down, you know what’s coming: more losses, more excuses, and more Utah dominance. Enjoy your preseason trophies and moral victories—because when it counts, we’ll still be the ones shoving you into the dirt and walking away with the W.
Now run along, Mark. You’re embarrassing yourself—and that’s saying something, considering the company you keep in Provo

ParticipantIsn’t that how theye got the nickname ‘runnin’’ Utes? It would be a lot of fun to see them go back to that.

ParticipantOnce they start making plays, I’m sure that connection will form very quickly.

ParticipantDampier, the most important player on our offense, already knows Beck’s offense. Nico just transferred to UCLA and has to learn a whole new offense before the fall… This is a huge advantage for us over UCLA.
As a Utah fan… Even if you believe BYU will beat Utah… you don’t say it out loud.

ParticipantI don’t like that we still haven’t heard anything on this yet…

Participant“Travis Wilson progressed to greatness.”
No. Just no.Travis Wilson was a serviceable quarterback, yes. He was tall, could run a bit, and had moments where he made the right read. But “greatness”? That word should never even casually be paired with Travis Wilson.
• Career Stats: 54 TDs to 37 INTs over 4 years. Not awful, but not elite.
• What actually carried the team: The running game. Devontae Booker, John White, the O-line, and a Kyle Whittingham defense that kept scores low.
• Wilson was never the reason Utah won big games. He was more often the guy fans held their breath hoping wouldn’t screw it up.To pretend Wilson “developed into greatness” is like pretending the 2015 Las Vegas Bowl was a quarterback showcase. (Hint: it wasn’t.)
As for Devin Dampier, criticizing him off a vanilla spring game where defenses were told not to hit anyone and no creative play-calling was used is the laziest kind of armchair scouting.
And the New Mexico O-line? That unit would get bodied by most high school defensive fronts. Of course he had INTs. He was under siege every dropback. Judging him off that is like blaming a firefighter for getting wet.

ParticipantYeah, I don’t know who considers him at this point. If/when his name is cleared and he is found innocent I’m sure there would be some school’s looking to give him a shot, but to do it now is a really bad look. His best opportunity to play this year was to take the 7 game suspension.

ParticipantNo way they sweep this one under the rug.

ParticipantWell I’m not going to pony up any money for NIL, and don’t expect any of you to either, so it’s not something I’m going to complain about.

ParticipantStill nothing.
