Defense–Definitely Lloyd. He was a beast.

Anyone here remember Mapu Manutai? He was a bright spot in the otherwise dismal mid-70s. A defensive standout, he would come up with a QB sack once in awhile in the middle of games in which the Utes were getting pummeled.

That is a huge loss to the Utah family. RIP Coach Pease.

Agreed that these would be the ideal four to get to 16, if the PAC could keep UT in line, which might not be realistic.

Back in the ’60s, Wyoming was a powerhouse. One year they beat Florida St. in the Sun Bowl. The following year they went to the Sugar Bowl. Yeah, they were good.
