I would agree that BYU as it stands right now is a sleeping giant. What happens if Ryan Smith decides to put some money towards BYU football like he has done with basketball? That could be a difference maker in many ways. No one knows if or when that will happen but just the fact that there is a possibility of it happening scares me some.
