Don’t know if its possible, but perhaps make a topic creation auto-mod, where a poster has reputation and must have a certain amount (above 0) to be able to post new topics.

That way it doesn’t dissuade from posting replies, just new topics that would clutter the board.

The only reason I don’t want the system from utefans is because of the complete limiting factor – the poster cannot post over a certain amount. Instead, I like reddit’s functionality, where the post is auto-collapsed and you can move on with the discussion. It could be a system like reddit where if there are enough downvotes, the post gets collapsed so you have to choose to open it – that way its not deleted automatically, and the poster isn’t harmed in the future, its just that one post.

Utah has a massive negative credit when it comes to recruiting, even with our basketball history. This news this morning made today an Extra Special Friday – combined with the fact that I had donuts brought to work by a co-worker, and its shaping up to be a great weekend!

This^^ – You KNOW that Wells and USU took prep time away from SUU to use to evaluate the Utah v. Mich tape. USU’s offensive looks were completely different against us, and we STILL shut them down once we had time to adjust. Wilson goes out in the 2nd quarter and we still comfortably win. I like 10-2…and with the way ASU, USC, and UCLA have been playing, it may be enough to win the south if we can upset AZ…

But even with BJohnson in 2008 – there were times our offense was terrible. I remember a game where Johnson was responsible for 3 turnovers I think…but we still got it done at the end of the day. The only thing that matters when its all said and done is how many W’s can be counted.

I actually think this site is doing really well – topics and posts keep cropping up, and it seems like we have several stalwarts that always try to contribute with more lurkers making the plunge into posting everyday.
