HoosierUte started the topic Rose Bowl Opening Lines in the forum Football 2 years, 11 months ago
Opened at osu -7 last night and has moved to -6.5, which means the early money came in on the Utah side. I would have thought the line would have been close to 10, but I didn’t follow osu super close.

HoosierUte started the topic What do we know about Weber St? in the forum Football 3 years, 2 months ago
Out of state Ute here, I know essentially nothing about Weber States football program other than they lost in the first round of the FCS playoffs last year. What are they good at? Any player or matchup that might be somewhat interesting?

HoosierUte started the topic Rumors online of Baylor, TTech, and TCU reaching out to the PAC this am in the forum Pac-12 3 years, 4 months ago
This one has me confused. I was under the impression that Baylor and TCU would be non-starters due to the research requirements (and being religious schools). Would be interesting to see if the Pac would skip the rules to gain a major foothold in Texas though. This possibility also raises the question of who would be the 4th team to make it 16? OK…[Read more]

HoosierUte started the topic Listening to The Zone for the first time in a decade… yikes in the forum Misc 3 years, 5 months ago
Streaming The Zone for the first time in a decade hoping to get some Jazz pregame analysis. This stuff is turrible. You would barely know a game was happening tonight, its mostly erectile disfunction ads and call-ins from the doctor every 15 minutes. When not discussing penis issues it’s either random banter non-sports related or other ads. I…[Read more]

Looks like he was hit by a car while cycling in St. George. Happened 2 months ago but it’s been kept quiet until going public today. Scary stuff, I have had a few close calls while out on the bike. Watch out for cyclists everybody.

HoosierUte started the topic Thoughts on UW winning the north by cancelation? in the forum Football 3 years, 11 months ago
Our 2 losses are to the presumptive north/south champs for what its worth.
Tough to feel bad for Oregon, they should have won games, Colorado on the other hand is getting screwed if they beat us. -
HoosierUte started the topic Championship week games in the forum Football 3 years, 11 months ago
It would be nice if the p12 threw out the north v south component of the non-championship games. This would be a great time to reschedule the Apple Cup and other divisional games that were canceled. I know I would much rather play AZ or UCLA over Wazzu or Cal.

I think the spring option may preclude certain members from trying to break off to join SEC/B12 fall football.

HoosierUte started the topic PGA final round yesterday was a full day of great golf. in the forum Professional Sports 4 years, 3 months ago
I was really hoping for a playoff but you can’t be mad about the drive that kid hit on 16. Holy smokes. I had Finau +5000 early in the week so I was on the edge of my seat all afternoon. He is gonna get one sooner or later.

HoosierUte started the topic Football in the spring? Not so fast! in the forum Football 4 years, 5 months ago
Take it for what its worth, but living in Indianapolis I have a couple of friends who work at the NCAA. They have both told me that moving fall sports to the spring is “off the table.” Not sure what the rationale is, but there you have it. Both are also confident that football will happen in some form, too many universities have too much on the…[Read more]

He is listed 9th on a list of 9 contenders, but hey its something. Probably too little too late but I think he deserves at least the recognition as a candidate and an invite to the ceremony. -

I am not sure why I like this as much as I do. It is 100% meaningless. With the P12 down to only 3 landholders, this is our chance to take back most of Utah. -

We are coming off a 2 game home stand where we only had to play half a game in each. We should be well rested too.
