The inferiority complex of this league is getting old, and quite frankly pathetic. Oklahoma and Texas must have really done a number on you guys.
I don’t know what you expect when a 5-year starting quarterback is injured “legally” hit out of bounds into a Gatorade table like a WWE match. Not many teams easily recover from that. I wish we had a…[Read more] -
HoosierUte replied to the topic Does the team want Isaac at QB? in the forum Football 3 weeks, 4 days ago
I agree with Silver. I do think that he has potential, and the situation he is in is almost impossible. I really hope that he develops and becomes a Utah legend. That said, he hasn’t shown anything at the college level for us to go all in on IW. If the Utes aren’t active in the portal looking for a game-ready quarterback next season, that is…[Read more]

HoosierUte started the topic Difficult Offense? in the forum Football 4 weeks, 1 day ago
Ill admit I’m not a huge X’s and O’s guy, but I have been hearing that Luds offense is complicated and difficult to learn. What are we really taLking about here? I mean it’s a football play, just like every other team runs. Many teams run dynamic offenses that aren’t known to be “difficult” for the players to learn. Shouldn’t that have been a huge…[Read more]

4.5 points in one afternoon is a big swing. Somebody heard something positive for Utah.

HoosierUte replied to the topic How do you deal with the commercials while watching the game? in the forum Football 2 months, 3 weeks ago
How do I deal with the commercials? Have you not watched tv before? Commercials pay the bills and allow the game to be broadcast. I sit through them and text my brother about the game. I strongly prefer to watch Ute broadcasts live. Commercials are part of it, and it’s no big deal.

Seems about right to me.

I haven’t seen anything yet. I don’t always love the painted designs but it is a cool tradition.

Wow, that’s crazy a total rebuild two years in a row? It looks like they brought in better talent this year, and included the lines this time. It will be another interesting season for the Buffs.

Has Colorado done anything to improve this offseason? Serious question, I haven’t followed them at all. If not, then covering 8 points seems like easy money.

Wierd and seemingly obvious question, so if he redshirts this season in FB then he can’t play on the bball team this coming season either. correct?

HoosierUte replied to the topic New Poll: Rate your excitement level for the Utes MBB playing in the NIT in the forum Basketball (Men) 8 months, 1 week ago
Medium excited until I saw that the final four and championship will be held right here @ Butler (Indianapolis). A rare chance for me to see the Running Utes in action. Go Utes!

HoosierUte replied to the topic NIT invitation in the forum Basketball (Men) 8 months, 1 week ago
Player development is a little harder argument to make when it comes to NIT vs bowl games. Half the field in the NIT will be done in a couple of days. IF you make a deep run sure, but otherwise its just an extra few days. Bowl games give you a month of extra practice at least.

HoosierUte replied to the topic How do we feel about Snoop joining the Browns? in the forum Football 8 months, 1 week ago
Not great. Browns also just signed Jameis Winston as back QB and are heavily invested in Watson. Would take a lot for Snoop to be the starter.

HoosierUte replied to the topic YES PLEASE! in the forum Football 8 months, 3 weeks ago
Spot on. If this all goes down and Utah ends up on the outside that will mark the end of me caring at all about cfb. Much like the LIV drama has diminished my interest in the PGA. The question is then, if this all happens and Utah ends up in the group. What is the interest level? I’m almost morally conflicted about remaining a fan after half of…[Read more]

You are kidding yourself if you think the comparison is between SLC and Bloomington/West Lafayette/Champaign. Those are college towns that nobody stays in. The relevant market for IU is Indianapolis (my home) which easily supports an NFL team. The Illini market is Chicago. I would think that a Super League would take one of IU/Purdue, and one of…[Read more]

HoosierUte replied to the topic Caleb Williams declared for the draft in the forum NFL 10 months, 1 week ago
I think itz pretty clear that Barnes understands that his days of playing QB are limited. Might as well milk it while it lasts. He has some local celebrity and can pile up some degrees. USU seems like a good spot even if he isn’t starting. Happy for the kid and wish him the best.
