So, the Nintendo Switch was released today: good luck getting one. Looks pretty neat. I am a big Zelda fan, so I bought the special edition of the new game online; however, who knows when I will get a console to play it on.

In my opinion, everything that is not University of Utah related should be hidden by default and only visible to those who opt in. This is the best approach because it pleases the largest number of people and prevents UteHub from being high-jacked into a political board or a byu bashing board. I don’t mind this website having political/religious/byu discussions (yes, I lumped them together ;), but I would like to propose that these three categories be blocked by default for all new users and all those who visit the site but do not log in.
My reason for this is to not drive away would be UteHub users and new members.

Every game feels like a slog lately. It doesn’t seem to matter who we play: they can’t score and we can’t score. I guess that is just Utah football most of the time.

Turns out, I was uninformed. Generally, wireless 802.11n access points/routers can only do up to around 300Mbps wireless, and that is under perfect conditions with a great router. In reality, there is interference, crappy routers, obstructions, distance, etc that bring performance down. The 1Gbps is for ethernet/wired connections. FYI.
