I wouldn’t expect Utah to change who they are to pander to a potential recruit. However, you also can’t expect to be able to recruit great receivers if you never throw the ball to your current receivers.

I wasn’t trying to blame the players on defense; more the play calling. You are probably right about Wilson, but I still think they should have given him more ‘easy’ (none of it is easy) chances.

Yeah, I agree. Utah seems to be one of the only teams that consistently does this to their quarterbacks. Maybe this is Utah fan bias, and you can’t argue with success, but other teams allow their new/replacement quarterbacks to actually throw the ball.

There is some truth in that Cam has not started in a very long time. He is also likely still trying to overcome some of the mental (and physical) challenges associated with the recovery to some degree.

Hopefully he is able to shake off that rust early.

I often wondered why they didn’t throw to Landen King more last season; the man seemed to catch almost everything.

Based on past experience, this means we probably won’t see him play this season, right? 😉
