I think the whole “don’t show anything” is a bad strategy. I think it’s dumb that the first time we do our “strategy” is vs OSU or Arizona. I’d rather practice what we want to do vs SUU, be great at it AND make OSU and Arizona have to worry about 15 things than the alternative:

Yup. If we go 1-1 there we should be set for the year. I have us at 11-1 or 10-2. The only other hiccup I could see is if somehow UCF makes it through the year with no injuries. Then we could lose that game. But if they have any injuries to any sort of important players…we are just better.

Penix threw for 1332 yards out of conference. I’d love it if Whitt allowed Rising to throw for that, but I’m not sure he will. The only time Rising threw for more than 300 yards in 2022 was vs USC, and he did it both times we played them…so I don’t know what to make of that.
