Scored just under 40 a game with Rising as our QB in P12 play.

We need talent. We have talent coming back. We will be fine.

I think the most disappointing part of the game was when the first quarter ended, Rose went out onto the field and started warming up.

I was at the game and was shocked at how many more players NW had than we did. It was crazy.

Yeah, Barnes is…not great.

I will always love Barnes for that USC game.

That being said, if he steps on the field for anything other than a “Troy Williams unties his shoe moment” the boos should reign down from on high.

He’s just not good enough. And he shouldn’t ever get a rep in practice again, as that takes away reps from a different, more talented QB.

Here’s the dirty truth we don’t want to admit:

When you have a team who won back to back P12 titles and then had such an injury riddled year and then had a lot of players declare for the draft/transfer…their motivation might not be as high as a shitty B1G team’s.

Sometimes the better team has a disappointing year and isn’t as ready to play.

In fall camp, Rising was #1. Rose was #2. Barnes was a walk on.

We won 8 games with a walk on QB against arguably our toughest schedule ever.

I want so badly for Barnes to go to BYU.

Barnes, outside of the USC game, is the definition of in the way.

I think Whitt let himself get a little to much infatuated with the grit of Barnes.
