I have it at a 2…and I’m going. It’s hard to get up for a game when we have no QB and half the team is in the transfer portal. We could win, we could lose by 20. Who knows. I don’t know any of the players…it’s weird.

Between shutting down practices and transfers and NIL…this sport is just different.

I think they already do this a lot. At least the schools with money. Have a ton of recruiting coordinators that go through tape and send out texts and letters. If a player wants 1 mill per year, why not sign them to a three year, 3 million dollar deal, and you get 2.5 of it after you complete your third year?

This is where I feel bad for this whole shit show. The players will lose this. Utah won’t. The fans won’t. But players at Matthews’ level…they will. A lot will end up without scholarships, degrees, etc.

What the bowl game does is give you 15 more practices. Those are HUGE. That is an extra spring ball.

And you don’t have your veterans practicing for your bowl. You have all your second and third stringers getting reps, working with coaches, getting better.
