I think a lot of what people are forgetting when doom and glooming…the Big 12 ain’t the PAC-10. There is no USC, Oregon, UW, etc.

There is no team heads and shoulders better than us. Yeah, we can lose. But we can also win every game. Who is the best team in the Big 12? Us? Arizona? Then there is a gap down to the next level.

I love you man, but after the games this weekend. After seeing Oklahoma, Ohio St, FSU, Oregon State, etc lose much like we did with their backups…

Your take is about the dumbest fucking shit I’ve read today.

And I’m an eagles fan who just got stomped by Arizona. I’ve read some dumb shit today.

  • There is such an easy way to fix this:

Negotiate with the players. Unionize them, set a salary cap, set minimum/maximum salaries, and do this right. College football is nothing more than admins and coaches trying to suck every last penny out of the athletes before it falls apart. Capitalism, yay!

Oregon State got their asses kicked as well with a third string QB.

What Ludwig did with the QB talent he had was remarkable.

I love it. This is how traditions get started.

Another example of how all the “Fire Ludwig”people are nuts. Dude should get a raise after last year.

  • Utah replied to the topic Cotton bowl in the forum Football 1 year ago

What!?!? A team on their third/fourth string QB struggles!?!?

    Man…are we good?

How freaking fun. I miss Utah basketball.

  • Utah replied to the topic Returning Missionaries. in the forum Football 1 year ago

Man, we are set up for him so much better than BYU. Rising is coming back, and when Rising has a favorite, you get the ball. When Vele was healthy, he was getting 6-9 receptions a game. That’s almost 100 receptions per year.

And Vele just left. Roberts would have a chance to come in and be the #1 option on the team. We have no one else. We hope…[Read more]

I saw one from him somewhere.

  • Going along with this, the PAC conference is gone. I’d be surprised if there is even a Big 12 conference in 2030.

You’ll have either super conferences or the B1G and SEC will break up again. Either they break off or go the way of the WAC-16.

Either way, I don’t know if the Big 12 is even around. The left over western teams will reform the PAC…[Read more]

  • Damn. Some real wisdom in your post:

“We need to recruit donors over players.”

So true. The other thing that needs to change and fast, is the coaches need to have some say in how the NIL money is spent. Maybe Jackson isn’t worth the big bucks, but Whitt knows everyone is coming back and overpaying for a RB for one year is what will put us over…[Read more]

  • This is a 100% zoob made up fantasy (what they are best at) and Big 12 team fan being offended that we’d rather be with USC and Ohio State than Baylor and Kansas State and Oklahoma State.

    Here is the reality:

The SEC and B1G make more money than anyone else and it’s not close.
The ACC is headed towards ruins.
    The Big 12 is…whatever for…[Read more]

  • Utah replied to the topic Barnes was always Whit’s QB2 in the forum Football 1 year ago

Maybe. Maybe not. That’s the point. We don’t know.

If practices were open, we’d know more. So now, instead of knowing, we get to speculate, which usually leads to a lot of nonsense.

  • Utah replied to the topic Barnes was always Whit’s QB2 in the forum Football 1 year ago

I love Whitt. I really think we will take a step back when he retires.

But the dude has too much control. You can’t have a system where there is no accountability. Once a person loses accountability, their performance will suffer.

Having practices closed doesn’t help Utah win games. See the Arizona game this year. No one knew about our inj…[Read more]

  • Excellent – Did you see the injuries? And we got to 8 wins?

Yeah, but bowl game was disappointing and yeah, I hope I never see Barnes on the field again in a game outside of the spring game, and yes, I am 100% for reigning down boos if Barnes every steps on the field in a game that counts,

    BUT

    We had QB1, QB2, RB1, RB2, RB3, TE1, TE2 all down…[Read more]

  • Utah replied to the topic Dream Utah stadiums in the forum Football 1 year ago

Yeah, we 100% do not need more parking lots. There are better ways to get people to the game.

  • Utah replied to the topic NO O in the forum Football 1 year ago

Scored just under 40 a game with Rising as our QB in P12 play.

We need talent. We have talent coming back. We will be fine.
