Vaugh and Johnson will be fantastic next year.

Bishop and Vaki will be elite.

That’s every single skill position. Oh, and RB1? When he’s healthy, we beat USC. When he’s hurt, we lost to OSU and Oregon and almost lost to Baylor.

We have no TE’s, which is our #1 threat on offense throwing the ball.

Not in the Big 12. Our secondary is good. And our OL…I’m ok if Utah decides to move on from Harding. I was always a “give Harding two years with his recruiting”. Well, it’s been 2 extra years and I’m not blown away. It’s ok to keep him. He’s ok. It’s ok to move on from him…because he’s ok.

Good point. I’ve never been in the Johnson camp either. I’m in the “pray for Rose or Rising” camp.

That being said, if it’s Barnes or Johnson…eh. We are in trouble. Then I think I’m in the Barnes with Johnson running 20 plays a game camp.

This. No Jackson and Barnes = no offense. We either need Jackson to get healthy fast or a new QB.

If Rising comes back, this is a playoff team next year.

Barnes was good because the defense had to stop the run. Jackson is so much better than we give him credit for. When he was healthy and getting 6-7 yards a run, we can beat USC. When Jackson’s hurt, like OSU, Baylor games, Barnes isn’t good enough.

That video is so Oregon. I just watched that whole video…saw many different uniforms…and still have no idea what they hell they are wearing.

I agree about the LB’s. The Barton loss is huge. BUT, we have some great LB’s on this team. While Damuni isn’t as good as Barton, he’s great. He carried Stanford’s defense at times the last few years. And he knows the defense now. I don’t think there will be that big of a drop off.

I say let Vaki do what he wants to do. There is probably more money for him at the next level at Safety. And playing RB beats the crap out of your body. If he’d rather be a Safety, then do what we did against USC. 10 or so touches in the right spots.

If he wants to move to RB full time, then by all means, be our RB.

But I’d bet he stays at Safety.

I can’t wait for USC to enter the B1G. They are the fourth best program, at best. Ohio State, Michigan and Penn St are all ahead of them.

You could even argue Oregon and UW are equal/ahead of them. That would drop them down to 7th best team.
