Oregon – I’m curious to see how Oregon does. They have Justin Herbert, who by all accounts is the next amazing QB. Everyone is in love with this guy. Better equipped?? Good question. Maybe but …Riley, Orchard, Fanaika, Palepoi, Dimmick, Gianni, Mokofisi, Norris and Blechen in 2013 was a pretty good group. Granted some of those guys were young and Scalley wasn’t the DC. If we didn’t do it then we probably won’t under Whit.

Nice article…thanks for sharing. They actually did some research and mentioned the Bernard possibility which most have ignored (including the local media). That’s a huge piece! We have a small class next year. As of right now, I think we only have 11 or 12 available scholarships. Now, Blackmon, Anae, Fotu, Moss all have their sights set on leaving early to the NFL. And there will be transfers. And Bernard, Vickers, Lewis and maybe others might count for next year’s scholarships

Cody is one of the team leaders and is fearless and extremely physical. I expect he will have a very good year. Most of his mistakes are the result of his over-aggressiveness which is not something you try to coach out of a linebacker. This is a ploy to light a fire under Mika. Mika will start. Bradlee Anae and Maxs Tupai will be on one end and Mika, Repp and Heninger on the other.
I’d probably put the depth chart on the Mika side come game 1 as follows:
1st and 2nd down: Mika then Heninger.
3rd down: Mika then Repp.

I’ll be honest here. There aren’t a lot of QB’s that would consider playing in this state for a myriad of reasons. And BYU has had a lock down on that position. Even Tanner Mangum chose BYU over us.

Still waiting on a couple impact guys in Bernard and Pirtle but this is a 4 star guy that we’ve been trying to get in for a while. Return game and WR group just got better! Had SEC offers…exceptional athlete.
