Yardage isn’t always a great stat. Sometimes it means you had awful turnovers that allowed them to score without having to earn it. I don’t think it really tells the story here.

I don’t have a book suggestion at the moment, but I will say that I agree with your take on “Open”. I read it a few years ago and was blown away. His descriptions of what was going through his mind during his matches were incredible.

Hey, I’m with you on him being a weasel. I just think that Rich Rod is worse. To each his own. I’m good with you leading the hate for TG and I’ll continue to hate RR. Hopefully the Utes can pull out wins against each of them this year, so my hate will be less helpless.

I am baffled that anyone could hate Todd Graham more than Rich Rodriguez. I don’t think there is a coach on the planet that I dislike as much as Rodriguez. He is a tremendous clown.

As far as I can tell, Coach Graham rocks a flat top. Like, an Iceman-style flat top. I really hope the Utes get them this year, because it feels like shit to continually lose to a team that is skippered by a dude with a damn flat top.

I have a hard time being optimistic against teams who can score as much as Oregon. Our defense is good, but it’s a lot to ask to keep Oregon (even without Mariotta) under 30. And it is really damn hard for the Utes to score more than 30.

I hope, but I doubt.

The stadium PA is horrible. I imagine that it is similar to the sound whales would hear if you played 80’s rock underwater with the treble cranked to 11.

That said, I thought I heard that the video board and the PA were scheduled for upgrade next year. Does anyone know if that’s true?
