  • Looking at Utah’s schedule, here is where I have them:

    For sure wins:
    Cal Poly
    Wyoming

    For sure losses:
    No one.

The rest: Look at the rest of the games. I could see Baylor, BYU, Kansas St, ASU, Kansas, Tech, Cincinnati, and WVU all blowing us out if we play like we did last year. That is 8 losses.

But if we get back to having a decent QB,…[Read more]

  • Ugh. College Football really just sucks now. Look, ASU and BYU were both 10 win teams, they both bring back their QB’s, they get slotted up high again. I get it.

But how do you slot anyone else? Hell, look at Utah: we brought in 2 transfers, kept Wilson and have 2 HS QB’s coming in. There is a really, really good chance that three of those 5 are…[Read more]

  • This is tough. College sports have screwed themselves.

You don’t have to win. But you do have to be competitive.

I think to make the Huntsman crazy again, you have to be a NCAA tournament team.

You don’t have to be #1. You should at least be #64.

If that’s the case, Whitt needs to be gone yesterday.

Utah is a good enough program they should be shooting for 10 wins every year. This isn’t the PAC-12. Utah might not make 10 wins a year, but that should be the goal.

Anything less than that means the program is slipping and big changes are needed.

Man, I don’t think it would be that hard to fill 3-4 hours of time. Between Utah football, Big 12 football, Big 12 basketball, Utah Jazz and whatever the fuck your hockey team is, there is so much.

    4 hours = 60 min blocks.
Each block has about 20 mins of commercials, which means 40 mins of talk time. You are talking for 10 mins, 5 min break.…[Read more]

I’m gonna be devil’s advocate here.

Outside of basketball and football, Utah sports are doing great. Our women’s sports are all top 25, skiing is elite, etc. Outside of the two major sports, he is doing great. Let’s look at football and basketball:

1 – Football. This is not Harlan’s anything. Football is 100% on Whitt. We’ve paid him. We’ve…[Read more]

I don’t think so. The better teams won. Boise St and ASU should not have been given a bye. But Ohio St is better than Oregon and Oregon only beat OSU on a technicality that they already fixed. And Georgia had a backup QB in…which is a huge fuck you to FSU. lol.

Georgia wasn’t a top 4 team with that QB either.

What this will do is they will…[Read more]

It’s the church thing. Mormons think BYU is Jesus’s church and that by having BYU, they will take over the world someday with their propaganda.

Some Utah fans are mormons. So they are stuck in this weird place where on Sunday they are told to that BYU is for Mormon Jesus and Mormon Jesus it the best and you have to do everything you can to…[Read more]

  • If ESPN wants a certain player to play, then ESPN should pay for the insurance.

  • Which is why professional sports work and college football is falling apart. This is basic, basic, basic shit. It just isn’t what you want to hear…

  • Is it sad I came into this thread thinking it was the WR who committed to us and was going back into the portal…

  • I keep saying this and I keep getting downvoted, but this is unregulated capitalism.

Extract all value until it’s worthless then move on from the wreckage.

You need regulations to have something sustainable. You can’t just let corps (colleges/NIL’s) run free with no restraint.

This is such a great real world experiment of unfettered capitalism.

  • It’s a business.

You only have so much money. I don’t doubt for a minute that Utah gets a kid from the portal then asks another to leave to make room.

There is good and bad to every decision. Some of these kids are finding out about the bad.

  • It’s fucking hilarious. They think they are being so sneaky, sly, smart, whatever by enticing recruits to leave Utah with cash, only to find out those kids would rather go play elsewhere for less money.

    Fuck BYU. Honestly. Pure evil.

  • Ryan is not a loss at all.

He’s big and strong and sexy as hell, but if he’s our best TE…then we don’t have TE’s.

He’s not a Kuithe or Kincaid. Hell, he’s not a Murphy.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot.

Phones have changed things. I’m not sure for the better.

Phones make doing nothing too easy. Have homework to do? You sit down and open instagram. Have chores to do? It’s too easy to scroll Reddit. And so on.

There is so much value in being bored. Being bored is when you think. Think about your day. What…[Read more]

  • BYU went into the Big 12 on their knees and stroked everyone’s ego.

It’s what those people do. Building trust and all that. Lie about who they really are.

Wait until Colorado is up 35-10 at the end of the third and then Colorado wins 49-35 and has to hear about how BYU would have beat them if the game was 5 mins longer…

    Their true inten…[Read more]

  • This is nonsense.

We boos players in Philly if they play like shit. The players know that. And yet, we worship you if you succeed.

And Philly has no trouble signing players. Bryce Harper, Paul George, Saquan Barkley…all absolute stars who just signed in Philly.

Aaron Nola, who has been booed a lot, took less money to stay in Philly. Rhys H…[Read more]
