Utah replied to the topic Arizona game first quarter in the forum Football 1 year ago
That was a great gameplay by Arizona. We had LB’s out, safeties out, and have struggled at CB. And they attacked all those players.
Can I get on a soapbox and rant a little?
Let’s admit how incredibly stupid Whitt’s “no injuries” policy is. One, it sets up unrealistic expectations for fans. Had we really known about Cam in August, had we known…[Read more]

I mean, we scored and kicked an onside kick in a gam that wasn’t winnable. So, we get what we get. We play until the last whistle blows, so did Arizona.
Maybe next time, Utah shouldn’t get their asses beat so bad.
And I look forward to repaying them next year.

Utah replied to the topic Who has Oregon State winning today? in the forum Football 1 year ago
So, I’ll be honest. The only OSU game I’ve seen is the Utah game. And OSU didn’t look good in that game. If we any QB in that game, we win. Johnson was like 8/24 or something awful.
I just wasn’t impressed by them. My knowledge is limited, but if we had 2022 Rising, we would have blown them out.
I mean, they aren’t bad. They only have one…[Read more]

I turned on the game and we were down 10. It was a ton of fun to watch Utah tie the game up. I really enjoyed Utah basketball for the first time since Delon was here.
And then I found out Houston is a top 10 team. That’s crazy how well we played them. It’s exciting stuff.

I’ve been crowing about how overrated OSU is…so I guess I’m rooting for a UW blowout. Ha ha.

Yo! I’m on your side. I’m saying that Arizona beating OSU isn’t this big feat because OSU is wildly over ranked. They another example of why you schedule down and wins are more important than substance.
I wouldn’t be shocked if OSU ends the year 0-2.
I agree with you.

Utah replied to the topic Huge difference between Deion and Kyle. in the forum Football 1 year ago
Kyle said it best earlier this year:
“No one cares how injured you are.”
And he’s right. What Utah has done this year may be Whitt’s best coaching job ever. Especially if we win out.
And it won’t help us get ranked higher. No one cares. All they care about is wins/losses.

Utah replied to the topic How’s everyone feeling about the Arizona game? in the forum Football 1 year ago
I’d say it all depends on if we can effectively run the ball. If we can, we score 28+.
Arizona ain’t scoring that much.
If we can run the ball effectively, we score 14-20 and it’s a much closer game.

Utah replied to the topic What's the story on CJ Jacobsen? in the forum Football 1 year ago
Yeah. If he stays small, he could be Kuithe. If he can get to 240, he’s Kincaid.
What does the mean for Utah fans? Nothing. He’s great either way.
For King, that 10-20 lbs is the difference between being drafted in the first/second round like Kincaid and being a sixth/seventh/undrafted guy like Kuithe.

Utah replied to the topic What's the story on CJ Jacobsen? in the forum Football 1 year ago
I think he’d be smart to stay, just like I think Cam would be smart to stay. The less you have to think, the more you can just play. Dart knows what Ole Miss wants from him. Same with Cam at Utah.
If Cam leaves, he has to learn a new system, with new receivers, etc. If he stays with Kuithe, they come into the season a top 3 duo in an offense…[Read more]

Utah replied to the topic What's the story on CJ Jacobsen? in the forum Football 1 year ago
He’s a freshman playing a OL spot. 99% of freshmen playing that spot are just too small.
Landon King will be a star at TE if he can get to 240 lbs. He didn’t play early in the year because he is too small as well. You just need time to get bigger. With the new transfer rules, we’ve forgotten that people need time to develop. For example, I used…[Read more]

Utah replied to the topic I hear Cam has decided to stay. in the forum Football 1 year ago
So true. What great news for Wilson. He gets to come in, learn from Cam, redshirt, get healthy and be ready in spring ball after a fall of learning the offense and sitting in the booth with Ludwig to take over.

Remember how I said I usually only watch one game a year to check in and it’s usually BYU and I usually leave frustrated and don’t come back?
Well, I watched last night, it was a lot of fun, and I’ll be back!
