In some ways, the DL has disappointed this year. BUT, there is a simple explanation:
injuries. Fitts and Anae have both been banged up all year.
Look at the depth we have behind them:
Tuapi, who is a freshman.
Repo, who is about 20 lbs too light.
Hart, who is a pass rusher only.
Heninger, who is a freshman.

I don’t want Taylor gone. That would be dumb. But, it couldn’t hurt to have Sark here as a QB coach or other offensive assistant.

Stop. I do believe since the BCS was installed, every national title winner has had a top 10 recruiting class in the previous 4 years.
So, until we have a top 10 recruiting class a national title is a pipe dream.

Red zone you run out of space to spread out. That’s where Utah needs to switch things up. You don’t have to get crazy creative, but use the horses you have.

USC may be starting 3 freshmen OL.
Darnold has 12 INTS this year (I believe. He is #1 in the PAC-12).
This will be a close game. Darnold throws a couple picks. Our DL manhandles their OL.
I see a 21-17 type game. Real ugly like last week. And like last week, if Huntley plays, we win 28-17. If he doesn’t, we probably lose 21-17. -
