J Rocksville replied to the topic Rondo Fehlberg speaks out in the forum Football 1 year, 5 months ago
It’s a fools errand to try and predict, but I could see Washington Oregon ND Stanford to the Big 10. Clemson, Florida St, Miami, NC to the SEC. Then the remaining ACC and Pac 12 teams form something else that just doesn’t feel great. Maybe scavenge a couple top schools out of the Big 12?
If those two conferences go to 20, I don’t see how we’re…[Read more]

I always thought Chris Fuamatu-Maʻafala was fun to watch.
Alex Smith is up there too.
Ty Jordan I thought had some Reggie Bush vibes to him.

J Rocksville replied to the topic What experts say about Wilson committing to Utah in the forum Football 1 year, 7 months ago
It certainly feels like the quality of recruits in the qb room is going the right direction. A few years ago we’d get a high three or low four star guy and everyone would be anointing them the mayor before they were on campus.
I think if we can keep adding 4 star ish qb recruits every cycle, we really only need to hit on one about every 3 years,…[Read more]

J Rocksville replied to the topic 2023 in the forum Football 1 year, 9 months ago
RB is the easy choice, and what a difference a year makes. Everyone was excited about the RB room last year, and by mid season it looked nothing like a dumpster fire. I just hope we are able to keep some of the promising underclassmen happy long enough to utilize them. I would love to see JQJ really establish himself and get himself into the draft…[Read more]

J Rocksville replied to the topic Looks like CU may have the best corners in college football. in the forum Football 1 year, 11 months ago
This will certainly be the most talented CU team in… Decades? Who knows how well he can coach, but even a massive improvement from last year’s team, may only be a 7 win season in next year’s pac 12. In most cases that’s viewed as a successful first step, but what are the expectations with so much talent and publicity surrounding him?
If he…[Read more]

I feel like he may have a decent shot at the league. An hback/end that just does the dirty work has to have value in special packages in the NFL.

J Rocksville replied to the topic Could Utah football be more talented in 2023 but end up 4th in the conference? in the forum Football 1 year, 12 months ago
The painful thing to me is that the Pac 12 was very strong this year in comparison to other leagues. I don’t think anybody could go 6 deep like the Pac 12 (maybe the SEC, but the big 10 was 3 teams, and the Big 12 was maybe 1 good and 2 decent teams) but we’re victims of our own parity. Next year could be 8-9 really good teams, 5-6 top 25 teams…[Read more]

J Rocksville replied to the topic It appears that Cam Rising will be leaving in the forum Football 2 years ago
It seems like he’ll make more money here than getting picked up on a training camp roster, right?
What…. If….. He has some back room deal to go back to LA to take dtr’s place at ucla for a fat nil check?
I’m not saying he does, but wouldn’t that be a crazy end to the saga ha ha

J Rocksville replied to the topic How did "game mode" work for you? in the forum Football 2 years, 1 month ago
Is this a limitation of your hosting, or forum software? I used to own some forums that would have thousands of online users at a time, so might have some insight for you.
Also, I also can’t really get on during games.

J Rocksville replied to the topic NIL strikes again in the forum Football 2 years, 1 month ago
We built this program on 2 and 3 star prospects that felt overlooked and had a chip on their shoulders. Those guys will still be there. Not every college player can be a millionaire.
Almost every game I hear a name of a high 4 star kid that I recall being bummed about utah missing out on, and more often than not they are scrubs. Just keep finding…[Read more]

J Rocksville replied to the topic My thoughts on the game in the forum Football 2 years, 1 month ago
I don’t know that playing for Utah would make those guys all of a sudden high level NFL guys set to make millions. If you could choose to start your life in your early to mid 20s with an outside chance of making a roster and a 6 to low 7 figure salary for a year or two, or have a free Stanford education and the support of that ridiculous alumni…[Read more]

J Rocksville replied to the topic We get the Ducks next week with it all on the line in the forum Football 2 years, 1 month ago
Also sounds like first and second string centers were injured last night, and that’s another tough position to be thin on.
It definitely doesn’t seem like the ducks like playing physical teams.

I’ve always thought that dude would make a terrifying pass rusher in the Orchard/Sylvester ilk. Freakishly big, fast, strong, athletic. Probably late in his career to switch sides though
