There was a great (but painful for me) cartoon in one of the DC papers a few years ago when Snyder banned signs from the stadium because there were so many “Fire Snyder” and “Trade Snyder” signs. It showed Snyder ordering a couple stadium employees to remove all signs that cast the team in a bad light. The employees were carrying the scoreboard out.

Probably because you had to put up with Dillon Brooks.

You have any inside info about Daniels?

Maybe it’s because I live in Florida of the West, but people out here are not shy about telling you all about their guns. Most of them carry them right out in the open, even though anybody is allowed to carry concealed, and many even have bumper stickers boasting about their gun ownership. Is it different elsewhere?

Did we ever find out for sure what the reason he was out was?

It would be disappointing, but the fact that we’re even in the running for five star kids is great, considering where we were a few years ago. Fingers crossed. Anybody know what time he’ll be announcing?

He’s the only commentator who can get me to watch a game which I would otherwise not care about. I could watch a tiddly winks tourney if he was commentating.

He’s grown on me too. He says some things that make you shake your head but it’s pure entertainment.

What an incredible game football is! Is it the last week of August yet? Oh wait, doesn’t the USFL season start soon? That Houston Gamblers/Memphis Showboats matchup should be epic. Jim Kelly vs Reggie White. It doesn’t get much better.
