Yep Holladay your QB gets run out of bounds into a table and hurts his throwing hand. You lose a game and suddenly Whitt can’t coach and Cam is just collecting a check. Are we becoming Ohio State or Alabama. If Cam doesn’t return this year and we lose to ASU and a couple more games then we’ll have something to really complain about.

Herk I hope you’re kidding about Rising. Maybe he doesn’t want to play at all? That’s the most asinine comment I’ve heard yet. He came back to play and win a championship. He is the ultimate teammate and competitor. I agree we all have our opinions but that’s ridiculous. He’s not playing because he can’t throw period.

The latest line on Sportsbetting was -6 Utah. It opened the first of the week at -4 Utah. I took the -4 when it first came out. I think Utah covers -4 or -6.

Huntsman had his checkbook open for Majerus. I can’t see many checkbooks opening for entitled pay me or I’ll leave attitudes from today’s best players. Utah basketball was built on getting the best local kids and finding complimentary players to make a team. Each player had a defined role.
Now it’s every man for himself and who can light up the…[Read more]

I’ll second that Holladay. Tommorrow will tell us a lot more about this team. We have the talent with or without Rising to take care of business with ASU. If you heard Kuithes comments about social media it’s clear the players have heard all the rumblings going on. I expect the TEAM to play good regardless of the QB. If Cam plays look out for a blowout.

Unless your Cams thumb or index finger how would you know. It will be like every other game time decision. If he can throw and hit the receivers he’ll play if he can’t he won’t. Common sense.

NIL $$$ to start. Getting some top local talent. More long athletic players. Better player development. Win some big games at home and win a few games on the road. Fans to fill the arena (maybe some disgruntled Jazz fans).
Depending on how this season goes a new coach. Shouldn’t be that hard to turn things around.lol

Getting close game time decision. Same with Rising and anyone else hurt. Sounds like a broken record.

At this point I don’t care who is QB. We need a win period.

It’s all about gripping the ball and being accurate. If the ball is sailing or not enough zip then he is a turnover risk. At this point only Cam knows. I don’t think pain or doing more damage is the issue. He needs to be confident he can complete pssses.

“So you’re saying there’s a chance”. A dumb and dumber comment actually works here. I won’t look to the sky for a “bad moon rising” rather the first offensive possession. If Wilson or Rising run on the field it won’t matter to me. We need a win period.

We match up well on defense. Quarterback can run but not accurate throwing. Keep him in the pocket. Offense should be able to mix run and throw. We should get a win and get some momentum going again.

Whitt is not a front runner. He likes the underdog role. Much easier to motivate a team that just got their asses kicked as opposed to all they have to do is show up.

I totally agree Dallas a piece of humble pie might stir the hornets nest. Old school coach like Whitt thrives in this position. We are in the same position Arizona was last week. Bad loss and bye.

The character of the team will come out Friday night. It’s always interesting to see who steps up and makes a play. This is a talented team they just haven’t hit on all cylinders yet.

Where’s Keith Jackson when you need him. All the negative posts after one (shi*ty loss). It’s game day in two days. Let’s get the positive vibes going again. I’m excited to see how the Utes come out against ASU. We have great leadership on the team and this team is focused on making the playoffs.
Regardless of who is playing QB or any other p…[Read more]
