I agree Miami. I don’t feel like we’ve played a complete game yet. Defense has been good minus a few plays and offense has played not so good with a few good plays.

As of now it looks like we were overrated. 7 games left to prove otherwise. Cam comes back and gives us a spark the season can still be successful. Lots of pressure on two fingers.

Ok state is horrible period.

I agree UtesRule enough already. Let’s play the next 7 games and save the negative vibes for after the season.

Last year was a disaster any way you look at it. So at the end of last season our options were:
1. Rose who never took a snap and got beat out by Barnes.
2. Wilson an incoming freshman

Anyone that’s ahead of us in the standings. Things could get interesting as the season progresses. The BYU and ISU games at home are looking much bigger than predicted. The conference is up for grabs.

I agree they will not be a push over. They want to kick us while we’re down. ASU might be favored if Rising is still out. Two weeks to get ready is a big advantage like AU had last week.

I remember those days also proud Ute. 10,000-20,000 at the games. 6-6 was considered a good season. We have come along way with lots of bumps in the road along the way. The loss to Arizona is just another bump.

Miami remember when we used to say the big boys were afraid to play us. We can beat anybody. We could be competitive in a P5 conference. Don’t miss the New Mexico Wyoming UNLV games. Air Force was always a test. BYU TCU were always a big rival for conference title. You could drive to most away games.

The problem with not disclosing the severity of an injury leads everyone to believe the best case scenario. Why not just disclose what the injury is and we can understand why he isn’t playing. Thanks alohaute for the baseball post. It’s nice to see some playoff talk. I haven’t watched hardly any baseball this year but I will follow the padres. I was a huge yankee fan growing up when baseball was king and Mickey Mantle was my idol.

Miami Whitt tried the portal with Brewer who was great at Baylor and Bentley from South Carolina. I respectfully disagree Miami. Rising when healthy is a championship QB. He proved it twice. Last year was a joke and should never have happened. This year is different. Good points. I think the big backs are able to move the pile a little more. JJ would have been a big help. I like MB and I agree he is the best we have in short yardage but he hits the wall and is stopped. A big back might be able get an extra 1/2 yard with body lean.

Thanks Rick and Stbone. Always appreciate your posts. The red zone performance was bad. It’s been bad for a couple years. Not having that big back hurts. That RPO with Rising and TT was hard to stop. Rising will open the play book more.

I agree proud Ute. We’ve been invincible at night at RES. I’ve been to every game (missed a couple is all)for the last 50 years. The Urban second year was the best as far as fan excitement. We had never reached those heights before. Seems every year the expectations have gotten higher and the disappointment higher.

Definitely a letdown. Also maybe a wake up call. Coaches, players and fans seem to be a little to caught up in he media and fan hype.
