  • Good time for everyone to take a week off enjoy the beautiful weather and reflect on the positives. Arizona was a bad loss and there is plenty of blame to go around. It was obvious the team wasn’t ready to play and the “will Cam play “has had an effect on everyone including the coaches and team.

Rising Reid and hopefully OToole will be back for A…[Read more]

I was surprised we didn’t come out more fired up. I pictured it more of a revenge game. We looked tired. Good time to get a bye week. If Cam was healthy enough to play he would have played.

We still have 7 games left and still in contention for a playoff spot. Let’s stay positive and not let 1 bad game ruin a season. Cam will be back for ASU and…[Read more]

  • Common Ute hub. It’s one game Arizona had a bye last week to prep for Wilson. Rising should (who the hell knows) be back for ASU. We play our best when our backs are against the wall. We can’t afford another loss. This is Cams last hurrah as a college QB and Ute . He comes back and sparks the team just like he did in 2021.

We have a good shot of winning all our games but it’s a long season injuries can play a role in wins and losses. Look at last year.

Universally despised by all Big 12 schools? Thats like calling the kettle black. Sounds like a cougarboard comment. I’m sure you’ve scanned the internet to find some sophisticated fans on twitter to back that comment. I know everyone likes BYU so much. Go back to the free ice cream stand for visitors at LES and hand out Utah thinks their bet…[Read more]

Common man. Powerhouse? Georgia Ohio Sate Alabama are powerhouses. We are a good solid program but let’s see how we do in the Big 12 with a really good team. If we make the final 4 in the playoffs that might qualify us as a powerhouse this year. I’ve been a Ute fan way to long to consider us a powerhouse.

Why down vote someone who likes being in the Big 12? Tyler nothing wrong with liking the conference you grew up watching. Nothing wrong with others missing the Pac 12. Me personally I like playing some new teams and also miss the marquee matchups in Pac 12. We can’t change anything so let’s make the best of the situation and be happy we can hav…[Read more]

  • That’s the problem with hiding injuries. We don’t know how bad it really is. Cam says he’s ready and when game time comes he’s not. Cam will know if he can throw. He needs to decide.

  • I agree Tony it’s game day! Let’s get a win reguardless who plays. This team will be behind either qb which wasn’t the case last year against Arizona. The Ok st game last week showed Wilson can win a big game.

  • McMillan is NFL quality. So use the Belichick take the best player out plan. Arizona depends on the big plays to score. Make them earn it with long drives.

They destroyed our defense and shut down our pathetic offense last year. They have confidence they can do it again as reflected by their media. We need to come out early and show them we are…[Read more]

We’ve seen 2 not even full halves of Cam. How can you come to conclusions about throwing to Singer. Cam would throw more to the receivers than Wilson because they would pass more. Cam didn’t have the receivers two years ago he has now. He knows if he wants a shot at the NFl he needs to show he can throw downfield.

Offense would be much dif…[Read more]

If Rising isn’t close to 100% but can play if needed. Start Wilson and bring in Rising if we need a spark. Otherwise let him have 2 more weeks to heal. We should know the first half if our defense can shut them down and we can get an early lead.

Good points Rick. I had heard through a national media reports that Cam had a setback during Wed practice last week. I took that meaning he took the snaps on mon and Tues and must have tried something that aggravated it on wed. Then it might make sense that they weren’t sure how bad the setback was. Would it feel better by sat. Obviously it was b…[Read more]

Well said stbone. You have great takes and should post more. I enjoy your perspective.

  • I’ve watched two games New Mexico and Kstate. Ghost recapped it nicely. Good QB 2 good running backs NFL wide receiver. A lot of big chunk plays. QB is short and has a gun. We have to double McMillan when possible. Contain the qb in the pocket and get a push with the D line. He is elusive and finds the throwing lanes. Their defense gave up 39 to N…[Read more]

Great points Rick. I think as stbone pointed out he seemed to regress. He has a slow delivery and teams started sending 6 that could still stop the run but forced him to hurry and he didn’t have time pick up a second receiver.

Arizona will do the same with Wilson. Hopefully Ludwig has some quick throws to beat the one on one coverage that B…[Read more]

I agree with Barnes regression and the receivers being responsible.I think teams were stacking the box and bringing 6 guys almost every play and Barnes was slow with reads and delivery. Singer and Parks are extremely quick and get open sooner.

Otahni has scored 129 runs vs Acuna 149 runs in 2023.

  • Jim Vanderhoof replied to the topic 50/50 or 70/40 in the forum MLB 2 months ago

Both amazing. Runs scored also might play in a little. 70 stolen bases should produce more runs scored however 10 more home runs is 10 more runs scored. Great question uterule. If Ohtani was pitching it would be a no brainer. Acuna is a good defensive player so I might have to give the nod to Acuna based on over all production.

I didn’t watch game film but being at the games I didn’t see a lot of separation. Some yes but Barnes held the ball because nobody was open. He was definitely slow processing. As a WR if the quarterback can’t get you the ball you probably tend to not run the route full speed.

Anyway you look at it the passing game was not a big threat. Singe…[Read more]
