Skattebo is a human bowling ball. Tough to tackle he stays low and is powerful. He took a beating last week against Kansas. He doesn’t quit running so takes a few extra shots. They have another back that’s extremely fast and can break away at any time. Stopping the run is crucial for a win.

Thanks for words of wisdom National Champ. Those who dwell on the past don’t see the positives in the future. As this old guy says it’s an important part of the car if your always using it.

Think positive ALUF. Man alive the tide is about to turn in our favor. Take your eyes off the rear view mirror and look forward.

All indications are he is a go Dallas. Onlyu said he looked good in practice all week. Maybe I’m being overly optimistic but its the perfect time to get him back and infuse some energy.

Game speed is always a little different. It will be interesting to see if ASU blitzes and puts pressure on him or drop back and make him throw the ball. I expect more TE and RB throws. Should be a nice test to see where he’s at.

Punt back, over the line, two on two basketball in the driveway, kick the can, fox and the geese( in the snow). No cell phones no computers and 3 channels on tv. Life was so simple back then.

These next three games are winnable and Rising can get back in rhythm and get the offense firing on all cylinders. We should be in full form going in to the BYU game. Looking in the rear view mirror doesn’t help focus on the road ahead. Time to focus on the road ahead.

Remember as a kid (some may remember) when someone would yell dog pile and everyone would pile on one person laying on the ground. That is how our season is going. Dog pile on Rising and the coaches. Rising and the rest of the team can avoid the dog pile with a win tonight. I’m sure they are aware everyone is waiting to pile on. We see a f…[Read more]

I think we need an honor code like the”Y”. That way we can attract the one and done players to come and play for 9 months and they won’t be tempted to be normal young adults.

I’m with you Anfernee. I put my money on the Utes -6. I think they cover the spread easily. Cam will spark the whole team and they win by 14+. Go utes

Man Miami you like to pounce on people. I was referring to fans not teams. Ohio State loses 1 game to Michigan and they want him fired.

No doubt Miami money is a factor. Who would turn down a million dollars. Don’t underestimate the fact that he has a chance to do something no Utah QB has ever done and make the playoffs.
If he was an NFL QB he would be long gone. He knows this is his most likely his last chance to play high level football and get paid doing it. I think he w…[Read more]

I’m glad you know. Rising isn’t getting drafted regardless of tape. He doesn’t have an NFL arm. Maybe his motivation was to get a big 12 championship and playoff birth. I’m sure he is fully aware this is most likely it for him. Some NFL eyeballs on the big stage and maybe a free agent landing spot.

Yep Holladay your QB gets run out of bounds into a table and hurts his throwing hand. You lose a game and suddenly Whitt can’t coach and Cam is just collecting a check. Are we becoming Ohio State or Alabama. If Cam doesn’t return this year and we lose to ASU and a couple more games then we’ll have something to really complain about.
I’…[Read more]

Herk I hope you’re kidding about Rising. Maybe he doesn’t want to play at all? That’s the most asinine comment I’ve heard yet. He came back to play and win a championship. He is the ultimate teammate and competitor. I agree we all have our opinions but that’s ridiculous. He’s not playing because he can’t throw period.

The latest line on Sportsbetting was -6 Utah. It opened the first of the week at -4 Utah. I took the -4 when it first came out. I think Utah covers -4 or -6.

Huntsman had his checkbook open for Majerus. I can’t see many checkbooks opening for entitled pay me or I’ll leave attitudes from today’s best players. Utah basketball was built on getting the best local kids and finding complimentary players to make a team. Each player had a defined role.
Now it’s every man for himself and who can light up the…[Read more]

I’ll second that Holladay. Tommorrow will tell us a lot more about this team. We have the talent with or without Rising to take care of business with ASU. If you heard Kuithes comments about social media it’s clear the players have heard all the rumblings going on. I expect the TEAM to play good regardless of the QB. If Cam plays look out for a blowout.
