Missed calls and bad calls are just part of the game. Good teams find ways to win and bad teams find ways to lose. Call it karma or luck the score at the end of the game is all that matters. Blaming the refs or the Big12 is ridiculous. Get a first down or make the interception and it’s game over. If the refs don’t make the holding call TDS wou…[Read more]

Big Brother? Reminds me of Poltergeist “they’re back” they’ve been missing for 20 years.

You’re lucky you’ve only had a BB game and FB game to change your way of thinking. The 70s and 80s were unbearable. It’s calmed down since we joined pac 12 and they went independent. “They’re back” describes it to a tee. It will get worse.

Miami I lived in Salt Lake my whole life. We moved to Holladay in the early 60s and lived here ever since. We were the only non Mormon family in several blocks. The religion has always been strange to me but the people have been great neighbors and friends. It taught me to judge others by actions not religion. I wouldn’t change anything and I…[Read more]

No whiff. It’s normal for you. That’s why it’s called the bubble. Everyone outside the bubble is weird.

Where’s McMahon and Lasso when you need them? Rational BYU fans need to call out their own. Same goes for our side. Shades of the 70s and 80s. Thank God there wasn’t social media back then. Wasn’t there a movie that said “they’re back””

We live in a bubble? Now that’s funny.

Thanks for proving my point about BYU humor.

Anyone that grew up in Utah can spot BYU humor from a mile away. It starts with the name and has to belittle someone different.

I hope all the high character players don’t hit the portal. We need them to stay and get us back on track.

Lasso you’ve made your point. You’re a great guy and poster. I’ve enjoyed the civility you and McMahon have brought from the other side. I hope you continue to contribute in the future.
It’s been a tough year. Emotions are boiling over and Ute fans are upset over unrealized expectations and bad losses.
Time to back off and let us heal. If I ma…[Read more]

Offense has always been our downfall. The Huntley – Cam teams were great offensively because of their ability to run and pick up first downs. They were great leaders also.
Good teams are built to stop the run. Nick Saban said you can’t win without big plays. He adapted and became a big play offense.

I can’t wait for this season to end. I could care less about a shi** bowl game. We need a complete reset. The only thing I’m curious about at this point is who transfers and who stays.
I’m sure Whitt doesn’t want to go out this way but it is what it is. Scalley is the coach in waiting. We need a whole new look on offense. It’s time to build the…[Read more]

Why are we beating a dead horse. The game is over and BYU won. We had our chances and didn’t take advantage. BYU finds ways to win and we find ways to lose. BYU fans trying to justify the win and Utah fans trying to justify the loss. I hope this game lights a fire under our program and motivates us for next year.

It upset me and many others so it’s not ok. Cheering for your team and being excited to win are normal and expected. Having someone yelling BYU chant in your ear is not ok. It happened on the stairs when everyone was leaving. Nobody was moving because of the crowd. I’d be fine if they did it in their seats or in the BYU section.

Refs have the right to pick up the flag if they don’t feel it had any effect on the play. Retzlaf had no chance to even throw the ball. It’s all water under the bridge and we missed a pick 6 I think the next play. Winning teams find ways to win losing teams find ways to lose.

Thanks for posting utahman. I posted several times to not sell your tickets to BYU fans. There is nothing worse than showing up to the rivalry game and having BYU fans in front behind or next to you.
Luckily our section had no BYU blue anywhere. But the next section over had a group of 6 or 7 BYU fans. They were pretty quiet all game long and…[Read more]

The biggest problem with the rivalry is it spills over in to our everyday life. Other rivalrys don’t have to wake up with their rivalry flags next door.

Not a lot to play for at this point. This next game will show who wants to stay and fight or who wants to point fingers and walk away.

I agree National Champ. It all starts with the youth athletic programs. The birth of comp teams in all youth sports sends the wrong message. Getting the best players and winning is more important than playing and having fun.
It boggles my mind how competitive parents can get wanting their kids to win. Seems it’s trending in the wrong direction. Y…[Read more]
