I have tickets to the Spring Game, but the football is just not the same as a competitive scrimmage.

I used to look forward to April Saturdays sitting in RES watching the battles the two weeks before the Spring Game.

Is that opportunity dead forever for ordinary fans like me?

Taking a break from work, I was reading an article tonight on the realignment on Utah high school football.

We are parking the the Parson’s West Annex lot. There are 3: Open lot, West Annex (Parking structure), and East Annex (Parking structure).

There are three types of tickets: Parade Only (Before 11 am), Game only (After 11 am) and Both (all day).

For the Parson’s only lot, there are only Game only passes still available.

If I remember, Slovis was 2nd string behind JT Daniels and became 1st string when Daniels got hurt. But Slovis was amazing in his back-up performance and started the game against us. Then Slovis got hurt on the first play or so and Fink came in. Then Fink beat us with the fly’s up passes. So we got beat by the 3rd string (based upon season start).

That is really funny. Same trip to the 94 Freedom Bowl. Stopped in Vegas and did my one and only 3 game parlay, picking Utah, CSU and some other team that I forget. Reasonable. But to make a Rose Bowl possible, one of those losses will likely need to be to Florida. If we have 3 conference losses and have lost to USC and Oregon (head to head) we won’t be in the P12 Championship game to avenge (IMHO).

This gives me hope. I have no idea what will happen, but absent a Big Ten invite, I really like the PAC affiliations and cities. I still feel like there is value in having my undergraduate degree institution associated with Stanford, CAL, UW, Colorado, Arizona, etc. But I understand it is about football markets.
