quit telling the board to emulate your opinion
I mean, isn’t that what you’re doing? You’re entitled to your opinion just as Duhwayne and some of us who choose to see things a bit more realistically are. I didn’t think Duhwayne was trying to tell anyone else how to think, he was just simply stating what he feels.

I honestly had no idea that this show was still on the air. I gotta say, I’d be looking forward to that matchup of “Texas Twister” vs. “Axe Backwards”

KiYi-Ute replied to the topic Cody Barton love in the forum Football 5 years, 4 months ago
So excited to have a few former Utes on my Seahawks now! Barton and Blair were two of my favorite players from this recent class. The added FA pickups of Agasiva and Falemaka are awesome as well, I hope they’re able to make the cut or at least be on the practice squad.

Oregon with a top 10 OLine is a big factor. Plus Herbert, plus the fact that they will always have a track-star RB and above-average WRs.
Their defense is also going to be quite good this year, I think. Their line will be above average and Troy Dye is likely an All-American LB.
Oregon vs. Utah Pac12 Championship Game.

KiYi-Ute replied to the topic Rising has been denied for this year in the forum Football 5 years, 5 months ago
The results of these waiver requests seem completely arbitrary. It does suck, thankfully we have Shelley. But it would’ve been great to give Rising some reps in the 4th quarter against BYU when we’re up by 50 points.

KiYi-Ute replied to the topic Huntley ranks 16/130 QBs in the nation. 3rd in pac 12 in the forum Football 5 years, 5 months ago
Love is a great QB for USU. And likely his skillset would translate to being a good QB at any university. But saying that Utah would struggle to beat Utah State is a bit of a hot take. We would have the advantage at probably every single other position (except maybe kicker?) and even at QB, it would be close.

Seems like Herm’s strategy is to really double down on his NFL ties and credentials to give kids the impression that he can put them in the League.
We’ll see how successful he is. We just need to start beating him consistently. Now that he doesn’t have Wilkins and Harry, I like our chances. Key in on Eno and make them beat us with a true fresh…[Read more]

Seems like I’m late to this particular post. But I agree with previous posters. PAC-12 Title or bust this season. I do not expect us to contend for a playoff spot, but I do think that we can hopefully win the conference. This is factoring in potential injuries.
If we were to stay completely healthy, then I think that a playoff spot would be…[Read more]

KiYi-Ute replied to the topic Our DL has been named by multiple publications as a top 10 line in the country in the forum Football 5 years, 6 months ago
Deservedly so.
Anae and Fotu are the big names but Penisini is an absolute monster as well. In fact, he was graded 2nd in the PAC12 for interior lineman by PFF. Tupai, Tafua, Falemaka, Tonga and Pututao are all very good as well. The starters are incredible and the second/third string are all very talented and capable.
This is going to be a…[Read more]

KiYi-Ute replied to the topic With the transfers, it's clear: Whitt and Harlan expect a championship run. in the forum Football 5 years, 6 months ago
Anything can happen on any given week, that’s why we play the games. If I were a betting man, I’d obviously bet on Utah. But Utah is notorious for coming out slow in the first game (hell, sometimes the first few games) of a season. The game is in Provo, and TDS-P wants this more than any other game on their schedule.
On paper it shouldn’t be…[Read more]

If he comes, I really hope our trainers/doctors take good care of him (as I’m sure they do with all of our athletes). But his track record of concussions is scary. Wish him all the best in whatever happens.

As with any player, we’ll have to see if it translates to game reps. But at least this shows us that he’s got some leg strength.
