I didn’t say Hurts is a bad QB, just that he is not special/amazing. I don’t think you’d have a hard time finding Alabama fans that agree with me. Maybe he will improve with time. And that he is better than any QB’s on Utah’s roster is not surprising, but there are certainly lesser programs than Alabama that have better QB’s.

My thoughts exactly. He couldn’t even beat out Jalen Hurts, and Jalen wasn’t amazing either. I’m skeptical.

Thanks for posting this. I have looked at Ufn before but don’t sign up there because it seems to be almost all politics. I like to occasionally talk politics but I am kind of burned out on that lately. Plus I think Tony does a nice job with this site, no offense to Ufn.

Agreed about Utah in tier 3. The Oregon game last year still stings. I hope we get revenge this year. I don’t expect us to blow them out like 2015, but since the game is still in October not November there’s a chance.

Yeah, while this is no Penn State or Baylor, it does leave an icky taste in the mouth for CU.
At the time I was embarrassed for them, but now I am kinda glad they got an ass-whooping in the Alamo.

I think Oregon and UCLA are too high. I’m skeptical a new coach will solve the ducks overnight, and UCLA has been a hot mess even with Rosen healthy.

See they already have a built in excuse as to why they lost, and inevitably they will have a “moral victory” anyway.

I figure that given Yner’s lack of P5 talent, they should typically only have about a 10% chance of beating Utah at any given meeting. That is still a threat, but for the most part, Utah has no business losing to tds.
