This is 100% him knowing he won’t go to the NFL and sees a football scholarship as a means to achieve as much education as possible.
He’s already graduated with his Bachelors, and he wants to go get his Masters from a different institution.
At least, that’s my take.

This is going to be interesting, no doubt. I still don’t know how I feel about it.
Maybe Gary just isn’t cut out to be a head honcho and does better when he is managed.

Here’s how I see it:
Harper is a corner outfielder. Now we have two mashers at the corners in Judge and Stanton, so there’s just simply no need for Harper at all.
And honestly, we won’t need Machado – we have a guy in Triple A named Andujar that is a fantastic offensive force and is getting better defensively.

Good luck. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that tough love sometimes is necessary. It sucks, but it’s necessary. I hope you’re able to figure things out OK.

How could this be a bad thing?
I think Gary figured out / realized that he doesn’t enjoy Head Coaching. I mean, I have no insight and that’s pure speculation, but… what would be wrong with going back to Coaching under Whittingham?
This would be a very, very good thing for us in a lot of ways.

Thanks, it does help.
Just cartilage damage and moving a kneecap, and on one knee some micro-fracture surgery to regrow cartilage. Knee replacements are inevitable, it’s just a question of when.
I haven’t ever tried to sell my tickets on KSL. I guess I need to explore that.

A good point – what gives me the greatest long-term utility? Probably travel, as many of the places I want to go to I won’t ever return to.
I can still travel with the tickets, money isn’t THAT much of an issue. But using the money from the tickets would mean I’d travel a significant amount more comfortably, which is important to me. If I’m going…[Read more]
