I grew up in Sacramento.
Loved it. Loved it like crazy.
I would move back there in a heartbeat if it wasn’t for property taxes and the like. Well, that and family in Utah, girlfriend in Utah, job in Utah… 🙂

He is adding the Director of the CIA to his National Security Council.

I was there on business in the last few years.
Great little community. Emblematic of everything that is supposedly good about Oregon. -

That is a fair point.
I would think the purpose of having the JCOS in there is simply to address readiness and resource allocation to a degree that the SecDef wouldn’t quite get to. It does seem somewhat reasonable to surmise that there is some redundancy there.

Imagine Britton Covey coming home and playing, as a sophomore, with the class we’re recruiting this year…
He’s going to come back and be a sophomore when our awesome QB recruits are sophomores and juniors…

He strikes me as the kind of player that would REALLY take over and blossom his senior year.
Yes, he’s fantastic now. But as mentioned he might be slightly undersized.
