Ever since they announced they were moving to the Big Ten, I have thought that USC and UCLA fans will have buyers remorse in a few years when they aren’t winning or making the CFP. I also think that Oklahoma and Texas fans will feel the same way in the SEC.

They will all make more money but will it be worth it?

Are we seeing the negative effects of NIL where a player, a Heisman Trophy winner makes a lot of money and thinks he is bigger than the team? How many NFL quarterbacks have played great, sign a big contract and seem to take a step back in play like they lost a bit of their fire?

If Lincoln Riley is using Youtube videos to motivate his players there are bigger problems at USC. What these videos did say should give us fans confidence that Utah can compete with if not beat USC this Saturday.

Thanks OnlyU for all the information you have provided. This is a good reminder that Coach Whittingham built the culture of the program and it is bigger than one single player. Maybe no Conversation with Cam means he is playing this Saturday? I am not convinced of that but hope we see a Nate Johnson based game plan and see him ball out!

In all the frustration of the entire situation at least Utah has a home and a conference to fight to win next year.

At this point, recognize Cam isn’t coming back, hope for the best for the rest of the season and that Washington State and Oregon State play for the conference championship.

Rising led the Utes to two PAC 12 championships. No QB at Utah since Brian Johnson led the Utes to a conference championship. If winning is what ultimately matters in football Cam is the Goat. Huntley is one of the best but Rising did something Huntley couldn’t..

That is pretty cool and I am sure not the last NIL announcement we will see like this from Utah and other colleges.
