Not sure if this is Ute Sports or Politics – a little of both

Audit didn’t find huge problems with the U’s athletic dept. Excellent expenditure of state funds. It does appear there is work to be done to get our house entirely in order.

We’ve played them every year since joining the conference. Are they our assigned North rival or something? Not sure why I just noticed this, but I wanted to know if this is a fixed part of the schedule or just a quirk. I imagine it has something to do with the California schools always playing each other that this has to happen?

That’s a great idea. It would take a lot to buy ND out of their ACC alliance. Isn’t it something like 60 million? That’s not astronomical, but between that and loss of their own private revenue I just don’t see ND changing without some seismic shifts in the landscape and their own budget.

So you think he’s for real? He’s got a QB who can make reads and throws and appears to be learning quickly from mistakes without his confidence shaking, and so Roderick’s scheme and play calling will impress us?

Not only Tavaris, but Marcus is also confusing because he makes so many great plays. We’re in a heck of a situation vis-a-vis names.

That would be great if Troy ended up doing so well that TW = Troy without need for clarification. Nobody wonders what you mean when you say BJ or Alex. If Troy could get there I bet we’d all be ecstatic.

Is he for real? Do you think when he comes up against PAC12 DBs he’ll still be making plays like he has been? He impressed me in 2014, but I believe he still had Dres as a counter balance opponents needed to cover.
I hope it doesn’t happen, but I wonder how much our pass game shrinks from it’s already shriveled state entering P12 play.

Unchecking the Zoob category over there is a great thing. As you know that place thrives on Zoob hate so it cuts out a huge number of threads so I can stay current on things I care about with less effort, and it cuts out a lot of negativity you don’t need. I see where BC is coming from and on one level I get it. On the other I don’t find it embarrassing but it could hurt the program if it scares off recruits or pisses enough boosters off. So that 1st half was a thing of beauty. Seriously the ball movement, dribble penetration, Poeltl dominating down low a joy to watch. The D was still out of position very often, but BYU was shooting cold.

Not sure if this is Chrome’s doing, but I have trouble staying logged in when I use the thread view. I navigate there and the page needs me to sign in, and when I do it takes me to the main page, then I navigate back and I need to sign in again. It happens regularly. I know Chrome uses cached pages to make it work faster is this the problem?

Exactly. They’re kids playing their hardest to execute the called play.
I don’t like losing especially late at night after spending hours watching in frustration, but ultimately it’s just a game.
