I agree. 2013 Travis was slinging the ball and think that lost us at least 2 games before he went down. He hasn’t shown progress in improving his throwing so we are who we are. Yeah. I didn’t go through the entire methodology, but the FPI is all about scoring more than expected. Since we don’t do that, we are not well regarded by the metric. I posted on UFN about a metric that is 100% offense based, I think its the Annar, and it has ranked 60s. Clearly offense isn’t everything.

What’s sad is that we had what appears to be a very good QB coach in BJ and Whitt promoted him too fast and we end up losing him. Is it weird that I hope we bring BJ back when he’s ready to move back up to OC?

Too hard to say. I think sending this senior class out with a Rose Bowl win would be awesome, but I bet all the players would prefer to be in the hunt and meet their match and know it than be watching.
