That game and the situation Utah is in right now is eerily similar to 2008. I totally agree. And I fully expect Northern Illinois to be 10-2 by the end of the season, which would mean that they would have wins at Florida State and at BYU. Will people still see this as a “bad” game, or, will it be seen as a great win? 

This might be the best Utah defense since 2008.

I think Utah goes either 10-2 or 11-1 if they stay healthy. They’re that talented. Hell, a bunch of their losses last year were in close games that they realistically could have won (USC, Stanford, Washington State, Washington). Not to mention Britain Covey being back from his mission. In 2015, he was arguarbly Utah’s best offensive player as a true freshman (sans Devontae Booker). The offense looks really talented and the defense looks downright scary. Not to mention that Utah will have the best special teams unit in College Football by far.
