Folks are talking about the Big10 being a 7 bid league. Well, that would include two currently 9-7 teams in a league with only two teams in the top 25, #16 Purdue & #22 Wisconsin. Michigan’s best win is against then #2 UCLA and bas…

Matthew Thomas Castleton replied to the topic New Poll: If Utes win 4th in Pac-12 do they deserve an NCAA Tournament bid? in the forum Basketball (Men) 7 years, 8 months ago
USF’s RPI is currently 91, most don’t consider a loss to a top 100 RPI team on a neutral court a bad loss.
Especially when said loss occurred without our best player in Kyle Kuzma. Remember, he got injured in the 1st minute of the game. It’s clearly obvious that Utah is a much better team with Kuzma than they are without him.

Well, Cal beat Oregon State by 30 points, so, our only chance now is to sweep this coming week and for Cal to also lose to Colorado.

We BOTH would be 2-0 vs. Colorado. Do you not remember Utah beating Colorado in our first conference game on New Year’s Day? Cal would still win the tie breaker though because of our loss to Oregon State.

Cal would win the tie breaker because they’d have swept Oregon State and we would have only split with them. It would be the ONLY difference in our records. We both got swept by Arizona (0-2/0-1). We both were swept by Oregon (both 0-2). We both were swept by UCLA (0-1). We both swept USC (1-0). We both would have swept Colorado (2-0). We both…[Read more]

The thing is, the Utes have been running that same in-bounds play all season long in that situation because it’s a good play to use to get a player open if the defense is denying the in-bounds pass. This really was the FIRST TIME that it didn’t work out ALL SEASON. Personally, I think that it was a really quick 5 second call. The Utes should have…[Read more]

Kuzma’s the only reason we were even in that game. He’s not the one who made the terrible plays. Hell, he hit a huge three pointer that gave the Utes the lead.

Seriously. Simply a terribly executed play by Barefield at the worst possible time. Devin Daniels was wide open and should have been passed the ball. Incredibly stupid play by Barefield there. It literally cost them the game because if we inbound the ball, Oregon State has to foul and we are at the free throw line. Instead, they get the ball back…[Read more]
