And not having Zack Moss.

Yeah. People seem to forget that Moss didn’t play the majority of the USC game. His loss in that game is basically the reason why Utah lost that game. It totally changed everything. IMO, Utah would be undefeated right now if Zack didn’t go down to injury at USC.

Wazzu didn’t let UCLA beat them twice. It was simply the fact that Utah was the far superior team who played the much better game that got the Cougars beat. If Washington State was a better team, they wouldn’t have gotten beat by Utah that badly.

Well, what is there to really talk about? There is no opponent this week to talk about, and there’s no doom and gloom to wallow in because Utah dominated last Saturday.

I would agree, but in this case, it doesn’t actually hurt or help Utah because we beat BYU already. A win by BYU just makes our win over them look better. It’s a strength of schedule wash.

It’s obvious though why he transferred. It was for playing time, because Utah has Zack Moss. And Zack Moss is not human. Had Zack decided to go to the NFL though, Shyne probably would have stayed because he’d have been the featured back this year. It is what it is and it seems to have worked out for both guys. USC could be in for a game tonight. Fresno State won the Mountain West last year and they beat Arizona State in the Vegas Bowl last year.
