Very true. Being a feeder for P2 schools is always going to be a concern as long as we’re on the outside looking in.

I disagree. Our rushing production was the best ever when we went from Bell Cow to Run-by-Committee approach. It keeps guys more fresh and since guys know they have a limited number of game reps, they make the most of them.

Couldn’t agree more. I believe Harlan has plans to replace those small useless video boards with 2 larger useless video boards…if so, I think this will be a big waste of money. I think the pecking order should go: Wilson, Huard, Rose. And if Wilson gets his surgery (which I haven’t heard anything to suggest he’s going to) then I would say #2 is Huard and #3 Rose and #4 Wilson (since it’s the type of surgery that he’d still be back late in the season, I believe).

IMO, the FCS games should be played in Spring vs Power teams to give them their payday. And then the G5 programs should be the ones who play FCS teams during the regular season for additional opportunities to make their needed revenue.

We’ve got way bigger fish to fry this year than beating one of the bottom dwellers of the league at home. But when that game comes around I’m sure the coaches/players will give it their undivided attention, like they do for all games with their preparation. Yes, I listened to an interview with Cam (I think it was one of the conversations with Cam done by Bill Riley) where Cam said they grew up playing against each other in Pop Warner football and then in high school. And Cam said he’s excited to finally have Pittman on his team since they’ve always competed against each other in the past.
