I like it. What I understood was an approach to (a) validate that he can move the needle on online performance but (b) save some game time in case of injury.

Makes sense to me.

My recollection is that it went both ways – if FELT different because our drives were designed to be long multiplay affairs, vs a long bomb. Just more opportunity for flags I would guess. Would be interesting if someone had the data on flags per play, or something like that.

What I struggle to find is “Ute Proud” gear. Incorporate traditional Ute designs, get their permission and compensate them well. We are proud of the relationship with the Ute tribe, and should support them appropriately.

We need to impose our will on the first series on both sides of the ball. We just need a couple of them to mentally resign themselves to another loss. Not even the whole team, if a couple of them let down their guard, we will find and exploit the gap.

My concern is an aggressive start has not been our MO.

^^ That’s how I was taught. But this season started coaching for my sons youth team. The league makes us teach to lead with the shoulder then try to wrap. I don’t know if it is a Canada thing, or just this league.
