I’m wondering if you used APNS for notifications and alerts if that would be enough.  It very well might be.

The reason I say this, is that we released an app a couple months ago that is nothing more than a receiver for APNS notifications and a webview of our website.

Tony, have you considered skipping the iOS app store and distributing it “in-house” as outlined here link
