You are correct, he took 0 three pointers, shot 5-8 from the field and got a lot of rebounds and some put backs. So yes, my criticism is for that dumb pic not for Kyle, he did exactly what we need him to do Saturday and the results speak for themselves.

I worry about that too, because a coach can do that to a team. I’ve seen what might be a pattern, where the team starts a little ragged, hits their stride looking like world beaters, then all of a sudden they seem broken. It’s not over, but it’s going to be difficult if not impossible to make the NCAA now. We really needed to not lose to any of the teams at the bottom. Since we did, now it takes a miracle win at Oregon, or a deep run in the PAC tourney. I’m not sure this team is built for that. 🙁

Kuz does so much for us, but for a man… I just don’t know. He shot 1-4 form 3, which with his percentage, you can almost count 1 if not 2 misses as turnovers because he only shoots 28% from 3 but 49% from 2. I still wouldn’t trade him for anybody…[Read more]

Agree for the most part, although I wouldn’t be surprised to see us sneak into a 7 or 8 seed if the season plays out like that, which I agree, it is better than possible we end up 23-9. If it plays out like that, 8 of our 9 losses will be to (then) top 25 teams. Not sure if Xavier will end season in top 25, they have been struggling. Won a barn…[Read more]

I thought I heard here yesterday that he was one of two that were “sign and send”. Not sure if that means that they would redshirt then go on mission, or if they would go directly on mission. Guys like Jeff & Britton Johnson played one year before going on their mission.

PVD I think can develop into the assassin off the bench (he is close already), and Jayce maybe by his Junior year when Collette graduates could be a 20+ min center, but not next year.
